About Me
With over 20 years’ experience I have developed an exceptional understanding of the hotel business; accommodation, the MICE market and food and beverage while having a deep knowledge of today’s changing trends and influences. I use my knowledge, network, energy and drive to deliver results in topline revenue, profits, talent development and customer satisfaction while developing and maintaining strong and positive owner’s relations.
Before my current role, I progressed through various Vice President roles taking care of various hotel clusters and the pre-opening for the company. Prior to this I held the position General Manager in two large and highly profitable hotels, Amari Watergate and Amari Pattaya.
I am a very experienced food and beverage professional handling events from 10 to 5000 in outside catering. I enjoy an extensive network of event leads, handling some very high profile functions.
I have a BA in Hotel, catering and Institutional Management from Robert Gordon’s University in Aberdeen. I was also a Chief Scout and a Rugby player for both Aberdeen Wanderers and Abu Dhabi rugby club. In my spare time, I enjoy mountain biking, wine, motor sport and hill walking.
