Chedi is a luxury micro-chain with hotels in Bali, Oman, Switzerland and the U.A.E. Its next property opens its doors this June in the Indian megalopolis of Mumbai. The hotel will be located in the city’s Powai area, and will have 312 guestrooms and suites with vistas of Lake Powai and the city’s ever-changing skyline. High-end amenities will include pillow menus and deep soaking Jacuzzis. Among the seven food and beverage outlets will be The Japanese Restaurant, helmed by chef Hide Yamamoto, and The Rooftop Bar with a cigar menu and specialty cocktails. There will also be an outdoor pool and a spa with treatments inspired by ancient East Asian healing practices.
